2016 Voice of the Fans Conference

We are very pleased to announce this year’s Voice of the Fans keynote speaker as Brian Barwick, Chairman of the Rugby Football League and a board member of the Rugby League International Federation.

20160702_131513_0013 On 2 July 2016, a new sport exhibition was unveiled at the Rochdale Pioneers Museum. Co-operation has always been essential in team sports. Working together for a common goal on the field, pitch or race track. The membership of UK co-operative societies rose from 4.1 million in 1919 to 8.5 million in 1939, creating communities that work together and provide education that expands to include sport and culture. Come on, Co-op! Is an exhibition about the co-operative movement and its impact within sport – from the history of co-operative sport sponsorship to fan-owned sports teams.
