We also help trusts to operate together as networks in the top two divisions, where we see supporters trusts' from the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur campaigning together for changes in the way the game is run. Because supporters' trusts are often the remaining supporters' group at a club, we also encourage them to become members of our sister organisation, the Football Supporters Federation, who campaign on complementary issues like ticketing, safe standing and other matchgoing issues. We also have an agreed agenda for reform of football with the FSF nationally.
We help groups of supporters' trusts come together to have regular contact and share best practice through our regional network. Supporters Direct also provides regular regionally based training courses on things like how to understand the finances of a football club, as well as the practical stuff like how to run a supporters' trust.
