UEFA meets Supporters Direct and FSE

Yesterday, Football Supporters Europe and Supporters Direct met with UEFA to further improve the dialogue between them.

Football Supporters Europe, finally recognised officially as the representative European fans organisation, were keen to discuss issues such as match-day arrangements, ticketing and kick-off times.

 

Supporters Direct Europe, by now working with more than 30 groups across 16 countries, outlined the growing network of fan ownership and its importance for the health of the game.

 

SD Europe and FSE, as partners, highlighted the importance of their cooperation across Europe.

 

Michel Platini summed it up by saying "The supporters are the lifeblood of professional football - they are the identity of the clubs".
