James Proctor - Development Manager

James graduated with honours in Business Studies from Napier University and previously worked in one of Scotland’s last remaining stockbroking partnerships. James is a Raith Rovers supporter and founder member of their supporters’ trust.

He joined SD in 2002 when it was established in Scotland, and has been responsible for setting up over 25 supporters’ trusts. contributes regularly on Scottish matters to the Supporters Direct magazine and has built effective partnerships with the co-operative sector in Scotland.

James Proctor is the Development Manager for Scotland, and leads its work on public affairs & policy, and development of membership services for Scottish trusts.

Elaine Millar - Development Officer

Elaine Millar has a background is in community development, having worked in the voluntary sector for a number of years providing information, advice and support to a variety of community groups. She also has qualifications in community development, business studies, managing voluntary sector organisations and psychology. She is also a board member of her own Killie (Kilmarnock) Trust.

Aside from continuing to support trusts to become more involved in the running of their own clubs and more active within their local communities, she is also developing specific training for trust board members on a nationwide basis, and capacity building within the community, working closely with Tom Hall in this area.

European Supporters Direct Feasibility Study

Antonia Hagemann - European Feasibility Study Manager

After studying law in Berlin, Antonia moved to London and did a Masters in Sport Management and the Business of Football at Birkbeck, where her dissertation was commissioned by UEFA. Prior to joining Supporters Direct Antonia worked for the Football Association in their educational department, FA Learning. She is an SV Werder Bremen supporter.

Antonia is responsible for managing the European Supporters Direct feasibility study launched by SD in partnership with UEFA in July 2007. She is researching the structures of football across UEFA member associations, specifically those of ownership, and if and how supporters might be able to be incorporated, either through new or existing structures.
